WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Your First Alert Forecast continues late on this Monday with the barely identifiable remnants of Tropical Storm Arlene drifting near Cuba and South Florida and prospects for new tropical cyclone activity quite low across the Atlantic Basin.

Enjoy a pleasant Monday evening across the Cape Fear Region with light and variable breezes and temperatures bottoming out in the lower 60s. All of this is ahead of a toasty Tuesday warm up featuring partly cloudy skies, a stary shower or storm chance in the afternoon and highs in the middle 80s. The surf has temperatures in the lower & middle 70s with a low to moderate rip current risk.
